Flag of Ireland has 3 colours in Vertical Stripes - green, white and orange. Every colour is symbolising something, green is catholic people, orange is protestants people and white is union between catholics and protestants. Population of Ireland is about 4.8 milions, with 500.00 people living in capital city of Ireland, Dublin. Ireland island is located in between Atlantic Ocean and Celtic Sea. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em><mark>HISTORY:</mark></em></strong></p><p>the first people arrived in Ireland around 8,000 BC. They were mainly doing fishing and hunting. Around the 4th century, the Neolitic Revolution reached Ireland. The most famous building from this era is the Newrange Corridor. In the 3rd century, the Celtic culture developed, and already in the 6th century, Irish warriors began to invade Roman Britain. Ireland was under British rule for a very long time, but Ireland wasn't part of any conflict.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em><mark>SCHOOL SYSTEM:</mark></em></strong></p><p>In Ireland there is 3 levels of school, primary education for people under 6 years old, secondary for teenagers and teritary for adults who want to have higher education. The most famous college of Ireland is Trinity College. Trinity has been founded in 1592, and there are many famous people who graduated from it like writer Jonathan Swift. Library of Trinity is one of the biggest and one of the most interesting library of all world.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em><mark>SYMBOLS OF IRELAND:</mark></em></strong></p><p>The most popular symbol of Ireland is Saint Patrick, whose day is celebrated on March 17. Ireland also has its own dance - step dance, which became more recognizable after the television show Riverdance. The Molly Malone statue cannot be forgotten. She was a beatuty fisherwoman.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em><mark>THE GREAT FAMINE:</mark></em></strong></p><p>In the 19th century in Ireland, many potato crops were destroyed by a plague on potatoes, which were the main food ingredient. In this way, many Irish families died of disease and starvation.
