He wants to fight because he feels that Romeo's presence at the ball damaged the honor of the Capulet household and is outraged.
Tybalt wants to fight Romeo because of his disrespect and although he knows the result would be death he doesn't care, as shown by the line "Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that thou hast done me, therefore turn and draw."
