Learned Behavior is a crucial part of an organisms' life. Without it, the way organisms learn and the process would be much different.

Characteristics of Learned Behaviors

There are many different characteristics of learned behaviors. One characteristic is that this trait is not inherited, it is learned. Through trial and error, a characteristic or trait can be mastered and learned. For example, if a dog continues to mess up while trying to jump through a hoop, this would result in the dog learning what to not do so they can succeed. Learned behaviors are sometimes learned through observation. If an animal or organism observes another organism doing something, they will try to do this too. For example, if a dog sees another dog sit, he would try to sit too. Usually learned behaviors are observed or taught. For humans, doing math problems or playing certain sports is a learned behavior. We learn how to do math from a teacher and people learn how to play sports from a coach. Learned Behaviors usually are acquired through play, insight, observation, or play.

Learned behaviors are crucial to an organisms' survival and learned behaviors have become an adaptation. Learned behaviors are adaptations since they help individual organisms learn how to survive in their environment. Having learned behaviors helps organisms live longer since they are more educated. Learned behaviors give animals an evolutionary advantage. They have this behavior to help them survive longer, especially when it comes to natural selection. The animals that have learned behaviors will survive longer than animals without this behavior. For example, Mothers teach their child how to hunt, eat, and live. Without this education, many organisms would die. It is crucial that organisms have learned behaviors.

I believe learned behaviors are a very important and crucial part of an organisms life. Without these traits, it can cause many organisms to die and stop evolution. Learned behaviors provide certain animals with advantages that allow the to survive. Learned behaviors have helped animals and humans survive for a long time and it is extremely beneficial to have this behavior. I have learned that learned behaviors are essential to the evolution and betterment of different species and organisms. I believe that learned behaviors have helped many species not only survive, but thrive.
