Describe the process involved with the extension of a spring and why it works drawing correlations between the mass added and the extension of the spring

Students understand and explain the force of gravity and its relation to mass. Giving example of mass varying if it was reweighed on the moon.

Show knowledge of the importance of reducing friction in certain scenarios

Be capable to suggest alternatives to avoid friction showing an understanding of its existence (maybe telling you why to cycle on the road versus the grass) (Why road bikes use a skinny wheel versus a mountain wheel)( the importance of having the tires prime to avoid them soft exposing a larger area to the road when cycling at the same speed)

Explain the components of friction and be able to supply everyday applications of friction  

Letting the students be questioned by me about what will happen what do the arrows mean. What will / could happen to the arrows (vectors) when we try and move a heavier object.

Applying a POE questioning format and let them draw the correlation
