Lake Jackson is a small city South of Houston. Even though the city is called Lake Jackson, we do not have any specific Lakes in Lake Jackson. Instead, we are known for the large amount of trees we have in the town. Lake Jackson is right by Dow Chemical, so it was quite common to find other people your age who had one or both parents working in the Plant, including my father.

We Love Buc-ee's!

Lake Jackson Is the home of Buc-ee's. The first ever Buc-ee's was made right on the edge of Lake Jackson and Clute. Another interesting fact; the owner of Buc-ee's lives in Lake Jackson.

I love to dance! When I am ever overwhelmed, I enjoy going to my gyms Zumba room to dance out all of my stress. Interesting fact: all throughout my grade school years, I did studio dance and was a Belle in my high school's drill team.

In 2023 I decided to change my major from Nursing to Education. The Summer of 2023, I got to really know myself and understand my passions, gifts, and talents. I did a summer internship at my church (Brazos Pointe Fellowship). I was the Childrens ministry intern for 1st- 6th graders. During the internship I got to evaluate myself, my passions, my gifts, and my talents. I came to realize that I absolutely love kids. I love teaching, guiding, and seeing them light up. I enjoy creating things like curriculums, fun activities, or something artistic. I have also found that I can be extremely patinate. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoy seeing their faces light up when they start to understand what is being taught.
