This can lead to illnesses like pneumonia, and respiratory infections. Also, cavities can affect the digestive system because if there is a plaque buildup inside the tooth, pain may be caused when pressure is put on the tooth to break down the food, and if the food is not properly broken down it will not smoothly be able to go through the digestive system.
