This is because potential energy is converted into kinetic energy by movement, so when the pendulum stops, the kinetic energy becomes potential energy once again.          <description><![CDATA[<div>When the pendulum moves to the very right or left the kinetic energy is 0 and when it hits the center, the potential energy turns to 0.  However there is always energy moving around. I dont know what TE is but it stays consistent and is the same the whole time. I wonder what the pendulum is actually used for and why doesnt the blue change?</div>]]></description>
