I loved the activity that Ms. Smith demonstrated. It is something I’ll definitely use in my class. She shared that she learned from Aida that the finger has a strong connection to language and that knowledge is leveraged in this kinesthetic activity

Learned: small group centers can be simple activities that can be used throughout a long period of time (teachers don’t have to feel like they need to have a different activity each week.)

Many of our students need repetition up to 200x in order for it to be retained in their brain
