I was able to buy new textbooks at my old school and the textbook and material made it better for myself and my students as they had a better understanding of the material that they needed for the current test. The old book has a lot of superfluous information that is not really needed and I think having a more engaging textbook will help our students tremendously. I love the online portion of the BFW textbook! I like how you can assign checks for understanding and that it actually has AP style questions. The Launchpad is amazing! I think that we need to be deliberate in selecting a textbook that is going to help us for the long haul and not just choose something because it is similar to what we currently use or we have used it in the past and like it. The Pageant book seems to not really address the new AP format. I don't like how it is organized and while there are some good resources for testing, it doesn't seem to be that robust overall. I like the integration of the Geography into the US course. I know that Geo gives some people fits, so I like how it is helpful to the students stay connected to where things happened

I agree with all the posts suggesting the students have access to the digital copy of the book as well.
