The first exciting day, I was at the Industerial Training Site at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

I met my trainer, Mr. Azim and he is very friendly. He introduced me to all the staffs. He taught me specifically and gave me a lot of information of MITEC.

For my first week, I was trained to learn about guest service. Mr. Azim brought me to have a tour at MITEC.

I met my supervisor, Ms Allyssa and she introduced me to the Marketing team. Ms Allyssa is very kind and friendly.

I also met CEO, Mala Dorasamy. She likes to smile.

Mr Azim taught me the job scopes of Guest Service.

Slowly but surely I learnt about MITEC and I had a chance to know the details every meetings and exhibitions when I in charged for Guest Service.

Exhibitors move in day for Absolut Bazar X Gaya Raya 2025. They asked how to go to hall and south entrance.

Absolut Bazar X Gaya Raya 2025 exhibition for 3 days until 24 March 2025.

Mostly the guests came to the counter to ask which hall and how to go to the hall.

I was in charged from 0800am to 1200pm by alone and I learnt how to adapt myself and greeted people at Guest Service.

Assisted Allyssa cut the vouchers for exhibition purpose.

The vouchers is for boosting MITEC social media.

Greet and welcome guests at entrances and registration counters

Assist with visitor inquiries (event details, hall locations, facilities)

Provide directions and venue navigation support

Manage cloakroom or guest belongings drop-off

Assisted in setting up and closing down guest counters daily

Ensured all guest-facing staff maintain professional appearance and demeanor

Offer umbrella escort service during rainy weather

Monitor guest movement during peak exits to avoid congestion

Assisted guests in using self-check-in kiosks or apps

Monitor and ensure guest compliance with venue regulations

Support language interpretation booths

Compiled and edited the MITEC x LIMA Langkawi video

Add licensed background music that fits the event tone

Amended the video of MITEC x LIMA as requested by Head of Department of Sales and Marketing.

Got final review of video for MITEC x LIMA Langkawi

Assisted Allyssa in sourcing suppliers for MITEC’s paper bag.

I also contributed additional content to the Sustainability Proposal, focusing on eco-friendly materials and responsible sourcing strategies.
