Their are many ways the climate can affect biodiversity. If too much carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere sea levels rise which can cause floods and endanger animals and human beings. Too many plants may grow from too much carbon dioxide and become invasive. The smaller plants will end up dying off from not being provided their needs and only the tallest will survive. This then can affect the animals who survive off of them and cause them to die off. The animals who survive off of those animals will die off and then it continues. This wont be good for humans and we'll lose one of our many recources. Extinction and sea levels rising are just two of the many effects of climate change as it can also change animal habitats and wacky weather.
Humans are the main cause to why the climate changes. The more we humans pollute our environment the more we affect the climate.

Climate change can affect biodiversity because human activity does. When us humans do something it affects the climate and then the climate gets warmer. That can affect areas that have ice like Antarctica. The ice would go into the ocean and the ocean would fill up. That can affect living things and their habitat or biodiversity. Certain animals live in places where they can thrive but if the climate suddenly drops of rises, the animals can't survive.

Climate change would affect biodiversity in many ways. One way that it would affect biodiversity is because the ice will melt. If the ice melts then the tremendous amount of water that is being poured in could increase the sea level. The sea level would be increasing by about 13-20 feet worldwide. As a result, many places could be completely submerged underwater. The Maldives which exist largely as low lying atolls in the indian ocean would be completely submerged. Almost any low lying area such as The Netherlands A.k.a Holland would face serious additional flooding problems. This is a huge problem.

As a result of major climate change, major extinction may occur as a result of animals' optimal climate range. If the temperatures go too high or too low, most animals either wont be able to migrate fast enough, or adapt fast enough. Also, if global warming increases, then the major glaciers would begin to melt resulting in an increase of sea level. This would result in major flooding in islands or countries that are low lying. Also, if too much CO2 builds up, plants will grow more and absorb more CO2, but they would run out of other natural resources that they use to grow, such as water. This means that most plants wouldn't be able to live anymore as a result of them changing how much they reproduce. Then, once there's no more plants, we would eventually run out of oxygen, or the temperatures of the Earth would increase so much that all species would die off. In conclusion, climate change causes major problems for the world and everything in it.

People are producing much more carbon dioxide today. This results in CO2 buildup. As the sun rays come down to Earth as short wave radiation, some of the sunlight bonces off Earth and becomes long-wave radiation.Carbon dioxide absorbs the radiation and adds heat to the atmosphere. More of the CO2 means more collection of heat that leads to rising temperatures. The temperatures melt polar ice caps and increase water levels. Low-lying country and cities would have a dangerously high chance of flood. The places can have rare animals and species of plants, and the the water rising can make those go extinct. Even though plants do absorb CO2 , there is a limit to what the plants can hold. Major contributers to this include Antarctica and Greenland cause most of the melting ice caps.

The plants cannot absorb all the carbon dioxide and animals are harmed by the rise of temperatures caused by the green house effect. The ice would all melt and many species would die out because they wouldn't have any shelter or couldn't adapt to the ice melting. Also the sea's rising from the melting of sea ice would flood low-lying places and harm even more animals. Eventually, no life can exist on the Earth anymore and Biodiversity would not be there anymore and we would fail to exist.

Although the slight temperature change may seem minor, many species aren't able to adapt fast enough to the alternations, causing them to die out. Plus, the snow on mountains or ice glaciers covering a few continents may melt, resulting in a colossal amount of water flooding into the ocean. For example, if the climate of the world becomes very hot, due to the greenhouse effect, many icebergs and ice on mountains would melt and flow into the ocean. As a result, the level of ocean water would rise , like stated in the video, by 4 to 6 meters or about 13 to 20 feet. This can affect the biodiversity in a certain area, such as in a island or in an area near the ocean. Because of this, the inhabitants would have to either move more inland and try to adapt to their new environment or get wiped out. Climate change would affect the biodiversity of a certain area around the globe by causing the organisms to migrate to new areas or to become extinct.
