You know them." (Talking about the boy and his father)</p></li><li><p>"We don't owe the kid a thing. He got a fair trial, didn't he? You know what that trial cost? He's lucky he got it. Look, we're all grownups here. You're not going to tell us we're supposes to believe him, knowing what he is. I've lived among 'em all my life. You can't believe a word they say.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Doesn't talk much, but when he does he points out the obvious. </p></li><li><p>He is a working man</p></li><li><p>He has a lot of uncertainty</p></li><li><p>He does not bring up new ideas, he goes along with the ideas of others. </p></li><li><p>"Suppose you talk us all outta this time and the kid really did knife his father?", this shows his lack of certainty. </p></li><li><p>"Im just a working man, my boss does the supposing." This implies that he lets the others do the thinking, </p></li><li><p>As of act 1, Juror #6 does not change his vote, he votes guilty. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Juror 7 is an impatient juror because he has tickets to baseball game happening later that day. </p></li><li><p>He is looking to get out of their early, so we can't trust his opinion because his opinion is whatever gets him out of the room fastest.</p></li><li><p>"I'm getting a little tired of this yackety-yackin' back and forth. It's gettin' us nowhere, so I guess I'll have to just break it up. I change my vote to not guilty," </p></li><li><p>The only reason he changed his vote is becuase the "yackety-yackin'" was taking too long</p></li><li><p>He is also short tempered</p></li><li><p>He yells at juror 11 when he says, "What do you mean, I don't understand it? Who do you think you are to talk to me like that?"</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>main character</p></li><li><p>at first he is the only who isn't voting guilty because he wants to talk about the trial. </p></li><li><p>"there were eleven votes for "guilty"  its not easy for me to raise my hand and send a boy off to die without talking about it first"</p></li><li><p>thinks very outside of the box and doesn't just always go with the easy logical answer</p></li><li><p>Believes almost anything is possible, and to not just assume something because it makes the most sense</p></li><li><p>"I'm saying it's possible that the boy lost the knife and that someone else stabbed his father with a similar knife. its possible."</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Juror 4 is a cold man who says harsh things</p></li><li><p>He is very calm, but the things he says show that he does not care much about this case</p></li><li><p>"We're not here to go into the reasons why slums are breeding grounds for criminals; they are."</p></li><li><p>By reading about how he carries himself, he seems intelligent and proper, possibly wealthy</p></li><li><p>However, he believes those who are not as wealthy as him are under him and are criminals</p></li><li><p>Doesn't care to believe the boy whatsoever</p></li><li><p>"The boys entire story is flimsy."</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Oldest of the jurors</p></li><li><p>Values justice, sympathy, and understanding</p><ul><li><p>Supports Juror 8 and stands up against Juror 10 </p></li><li><p>When he speaks, he speaks with passion and strength about his words, which makes the other jurors listen to him  </p></li></ul></li><li><p>"This gentleman chose to stand alone against us. That's his right. It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone even if you believe in something very strongly. He left the verdict up to us. He gambled for support and I gave it to him. I want to hear more. The vote is ten to two."</p></li><li><p>"Only an ignorant man can believe that."</p></li></ul>]]></description>
