My family goes to Cape Cod every year and it will now be my parents home when they retire. One of my favorite things about this place is the Brewster Flats, where, during low tide, the water disappears and you have walk out a mile to find water to swim in. It’s so cool to walk out and stand where the water is usually above your head.

I've been to Tokyo twice and would love to go back again and again. I have always wanted to go to Japan because of the anime and game culture, and I have definitely enjoyed my shopping sprees at Akihabara. I love Tokyo because the city is so clean and the subway is so convenient (it is on time!). I also praise the food and nature there. So much to explore!

Similarly to Sara, my family goes here every year for a vacation. We’ve started to go during the first week off of school which means we have a nice fireworks show to start the summer. I’ve been with my going with since before we had kids so now the kids look forward to it and plan for it throughout the year.

When I think about Seoul (Korea in general), which is my birth city, I think of it as a part of me even if I left 20 years ago, because I am Korean by blood and my grandparents are still living there. I visit Seoul almost every year but I wonder if I would still have a reason to visit Korea and if Korea would feel as home as it does now, once they are no longer living.
