I adopted this hobby in my teenage years when once I was just looking at books and found one called "Hunger Games". At the time, I wasnt a big fan of reading but the title caught my attention so I started reading. When I saw the world that the writer designed in this book, I was blownaway by the excitement and read the whole series in a couple of days. This is how I developed my love for reading. The type of books that I read most of the time are fictional as I feel a sense of peace when I try to explore my own imagination and go beyond the reality of life. I read books when I want to get away from stressful situations and just want my mind to be at content after an anxious day. The snacks in front with my favourite book in hand is all I need to get rid of all the tensions and dive into a different world full of fictional characters. The genre that has my attention most of the time in fiction is wolves, vampires and other magical creatures. Moreover, I also enjoy reading mafia and danger filled novels that keep me at my toes till the very end. This hobby is not just a mere hobby but has been very useful in developing my language skills whether its writing, reading, pronouncing or speaking different words. E-books are mostly what I read as they are readily available and the other reason I like e-books is that I never reread any book once I am done with it. This is because I like the memories of the first time reading to stay with me whenever the title of the book comes in my mind. So, having paper book is not really what I prefer if I am never going to touch it again. We usually sit at home and watch movies, or we can order food and have people over. However, if I have enough time I go out with my friends from school since I only get to see them during my free time. We either go out for dinner or go shopping at malls or just go to each other’s house and hang out. Whenever I go out, I feel bad about not studying so I use Fridays and Saturdays to catch up and review everything I had during the week. There are many hobbies but book reading is my favorite hobby. It gives me a lot of knowledge. I purchase all the books with my own pocket money. I like to read books. I read Urdu books, English books, and Islamic books. I spend my free time to book reading. It gives me a lot of information about Islamic culture and history.

I am not a bookworm. Also, I like playing cricket. It keeps me healthy, smart and active. It refreshes my mind also. I feel happy when I read books. All of my friends and teachers like my hobby. They give me the advice to read good books. I like my hobby very much and I feel proud of my hobby.
