I thought it was really cool to see the tubes inside the celery plant. The food coloring in the water really made them stand out from the rest of the celery stalk. When we started, we just saw the bottom of the celery stalk change color, but after we let them sit in the water over the long weekend, we saw the water had traveled up to the top of the plant!
