Effects from the world event: Reduced socialization, increased screen time, education was put to the side(online but not an effective way to learn), it was bad for the development and learning aspects of this generation (dating, friends), as well as had effects on family dynamic (being stuck in the same place as your family for months on end can have great effects on the functionality of a family as a whole).

Social media apps allow the generation to keep up with the never-ending trends in fashion, and food as well as allow you to view and interact with people from different parts of the world.

Many streaming apps are used in Gen Z's day-to-day life including Netflix, YouTube, Disney plus, etc. These apps allow people to watch and stream shows. These streaming apps have completely transformed this generation as they saw the switch from cable to streaming platforms, with many not having any form of tv cable in their house anymore
