Contributions: She was the leader for the fights for women's rights. She convinced the people that women not having equal rights could be related to how King George treated the colonists. Organized a convention at Seneca Falls and had 300 people attend. In the long run she helped women have the right to vote, the right to get divorced, etc. She also stood up for slaves.

Contributions: She helped with the fight for women's rights, and also helped get slaves rights. Helped set up the convention at Seneca Falls. She had the Idea that "Asking for too much" would not give women equal rights at all, and that taking it slow would be more effective. She even turned out to be right in the long run even though Fredrick Douglass sided with Elizabeth Cady Stanton in the debate.

Of course, a lot of people opposed the women's movement but, they also had a lot of supporters. During one of the Resolutions, Lucreita Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton came to a disagreement. Stanton wanted to move more slow asking for only the right to vote. However, Mott wanted to end suffrage immediately. Stanton thought it was too much too soon. After a lengthy debate, Frederick Douglass sided with Stanton to push for rights.
