The picture is realistic, but it has a certain smoothness about it that make it not realistic. Micheal Slackart lacks both these qualities. Instead he has more of a sharp texture and it looks like he is trying not to look realistic. Not a cartoon, though. More just simple paint strokes. It looks as if Michael Slackheart used different textures
