At his birthday because his dads friend hung him upside down and he did not like it. The reason why i pick this part of the story is because it show a important part of his life and how his relationship is with his dad. And how he likes his mom more and also this part they show more about his younger life and his 5th birthday is the first one the book tells you more about him and his life. And it also tell you what he did for fun when he was younger he liked to play ball.

This page is about. Eddie in heaven and he goes up to the blue man and the blue man starts talking to Eddie but Eddie cant speak to the blue man. The blue man say each of us was in you life for a reason. You may not have known the reason. And then Eddie try's to talks but cant really and asks him why is at the park. The reason why I think it is important is because I kind of believe in what the narrator is saying that you may not know the reason why that person is in heaven with you.

THis part starts of by talking about him playing baseball and then he loses his ball and goes to get witch land in the back of the show. and that was the firts time he meet the blue man. And then they start talking because is when Eddie is in heaven and eddie ask him how he killed the blue man because he did not know that he killed him. And the blue man tell him how it happened and he tells him that it was because of ball when Eddie ran out into the street and the blue man swerved out the way and his heart started to race and he had a heart attack and crashed into anouther car and he died. and Eddie finds out and get upset about what happend. the reason why I think it is important is because this is when he found out he killed the blue man.

And the first war that he was in with his captain. And you learn about the sacerfice that the captain made to Eddie.

It starts out about them talking about them be kidnapped and how they were going to get out of the coal mines.And then Eddie start juggleing rocks and then through them at the 3 guards. and they kill them and they start runing to a truck. The reason why I think it is important is because it shows team work helps.

I think this part is important because this is when you start reading about Eddie being in the coal mine. it start of with the hole group finding out that they are being sent to the coal mines. Then Rabozzo started to get a really bad skin rash And then the guards kill him because he was no use to them at all. And after that eddie starts juggling rocks and this is when they plan to kill the gards. the reason why I think this is important is because this is were Eddie get out of the coal mine and then later the cap shot Eddie in the leg to stop him from going into a fire.

This page is about Eddie first time seeing his dad in heaven. It starts of by eddie being in the snowy mountains and he find a little dinner Eddie peered inside and sees a bunch of different people in there he see a elderly couple sitting to the right of him. Some people sat in swivel chairs at the marble counter or the inside booths. And they all appeared to be from different decades. Eddie keeps looking around and he froze. What he saw, he could not have seen it was his dad. The reason why I think this page is important is because this is the third person he meets in heaven it is dad. When Eddie was alive he did not really like his dad because he was abusive to him and would come home drunk late at night and beat him. So in this page the reader can tell that Eddie has a lot of anger towards his dad.

This page is about Eddie finding out how the girl he was talking to in heaven. She says here name his Ruby and it made sense to Eddie why she looked familiar. He had seen a photo of her in the repair shop. Her name was the entrance of pier because the owner named it after her because she saw dating him. And she said she wanted a park named after her. The reason why I think this part is important is because this is when the reader finds out the girls name and why Eddie is talking to her in heaven and why she nows him and how she is conected to him.

It starts of with Ruby talking about Eddies father."ment, he was lost, adrift , and why he did was an act of loneliness and desperation. He acted on impulse. A bad impulse. Your father acted on impulse, too, and while his first impulse was to kill, his final impulse was to keep a man alive Ruby said. The reason why I think this part is important is because more towards the bottom of page 138 there is qoute said " Because of Mickey?" Eddie said "Because of loyalty," she said "people don't die because of loyalty." "They don't?" She smiled. "Religion? Government? Are we not loyal to such things, sometimes to the deat?" Eddie shrugged. Better," she said, "to be loyal to one another. I think most people should stand by this that you should be loyal to everybody.

This part is about Eddie's funeral and how would pay. This take place a couple days after his death and he had no relatives. Hed left noting behind he still had the same clothes. The church was chosen by location the nearest the pier. The reason why I pick this part is because this Eddies funeral and I think he was the last of his relative to die in his family because he had no relative that whent to his funeral so I think that most of them died.

You died. and then they keep talking. And then marguerite says "Lost love is still love. The reason why I think this part is important is because you will still have love for someone even if they are no longer with on earth and that you can still have the feeling of love.

It starts of with Eddie meeting a little girl that appeared to be like 5 or 6 years old. this girl he meets is the girl that was killed in the burning building that Eddie tryed to save but the cap shot him the leg. then they go to the lake were the girl what's him to wash her scars of in the lake. the reason why I think this is important is because this is when Eddie finds out the reason why this the 5th person he meets is because she was the one he was trying to save but she got burned alive.
