         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Bridge</strong></div><div>[Establish a bridge from a relevant previous activity or experience you had with your group.]</div><div><strong><br>Theme</strong></div><div>Today we will play a game to check in as a group and get to know one another even better. </div><div><br><strong>In Advance of Class (though can also be done during class, if time allows)</strong></div><ol><li>Participants take a zoomed in picture of an item in their living space or among their possessions that they’d like to share with the group, because it represents some aspect of who they are.  <ol><li>Some examples of items to photograph are an instrument, a favorite wall hanging or painting, a special project, a comfort they count on, or any item that has some kind of significance. </li><li><strong>Important:</strong> The photo should be so zoomed in that the larger space around it isn’t obvious/visible. </li></ol></li></ol><div><br><strong>During Class </strong></div><ol><li>Invite participants to post their pictures to the Padlet page.</li><li>Participants then comment on photos indicating who they think the photo belongs to. Try to match a name to every photo!</li><li>Once everyone’s ready, the group reviews the pictures one by one. Beginning with the first photo, the photographer reveals their identity and briefly shares why they selected that item or area of their room. </li><li>Participants keep track of how many of their guesses were correct and tally at the end!</li></ol><div><br><strong>Reflections</strong><br><em>Allow time to explore the following questions with participants:</em></div><ol><li>What did you enjoy about this experience? What was challenging about it?</li><li>Were you surprised by anything you learned?</li><li>What has this activity done for our group?</li></ol>]]></description>
