         <description><![CDATA[<div>Back in 1921, a multitude of black residents were given an area of land in Tulsa, Oklahoma to start their own sort of life. They rapidly expand, becoming more and more 'threatening' to American economy. A group of white men go to the town called Greenwood and start a massacre, started by suspicions about a black man and a white girl in an elevator. The white men raged and murdered many innocent people in Greenwood for two days straight, all because they felt threatened by some independent black families.</div>]]></description>

It caused a Run on the Banks, which basically means that everyone rushed to get their money out of the banks, and not many could actually get all of their money out in time. Many people were out of jobs, and prices dropped for people to even afford them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Just 8 days after taking office, Franklin Roosevelt started what he called Fireside Chats over the radio. They lasted anywhere between 11-44 minutes in duration. The Fireside Chats gave people an opportunity to listen in to the president talking, live, about how he planned to fix the mess that the country had gotten into, and how he planned to take action despite the struggles that everyone faced.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Hundred Days, otherwise known as the 73rd session of Congress met from the 9th of March to the 16th of June, and passed 15 bills that would help improve America's state. The Congress at that time consisted mostly of Democrats and progressive Republicans who worked together to create a better environment for American citizens. The Hundred days initiated the biggest works program, which consisted of many acts which eventually solved many problems in America.</div>]]></description>
