He tried twice in the same day  once with a bomb which was thrown back at him after this he run and found  a cafe to hide in and by pure luck the archdukes carriage turned down that same street where he his his wife where then shot</p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Explain how event affected people and societies in Europe (2 sentences):&nbsp;This even gave austria-hungry the perfect chance to settle some old scores with serbia and they declared war. But what they did not know is Serbia had  alliances with russia and russia had there own alliances same as austria-hungry.<br><br><br></mark></strong></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>Describe Event (2 sentences): The battle of somme was one of the bloodiest battles of the war as men lived in trenches made of mud and dirt and got only and hour of sleep if they where lucky the food they ate was horrible and sickness and lice spread like wild fire through the trenches. Not only this they where facing some of the deadliest weapons like machine guns which shot 600 rounds per minute they also had tanks and artillery shells not to mention worst of all gas which could cause blindness cause serious damage to the lungs and just burn and eat through a persons skin and the soldiers couldn't even smell it coming they and to see it and by this time it was too late for most soldiers.</mark></strong></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>Explain how event affected people and societies in Europe (2 sentences):&nbsp;This battles affects where major loss's for both parties with 1.2-1.3 millions casualties from both sides of the war. Also not only this the soldiers who lived had there lives ruined with the affects of living through this horifc event being  mental disorders like ptsd being one common example.<br></mark></strong></p>]]></description>

They managed this by shooting torpedo at ship of innocent civilians on a cruise line in their waters they killed 123 americans that day also they sent a message to mexico telling them if they go to war with america they will fund there military and give them more land but british found this message and gave it to the u.s this made us go into war.</mark></strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Explain how event affected people and societies in Europe (2 sentences):&nbsp;This effected many americans because now they where being sent off to fight in WW1 one of the bloodiest wars of all.
