Commoners mos of the people in the empire were commoners, they worked as farmers and herders, the commoners had to support the government with labor. Men did jobs like building roads. The Inca's height of their power was around 1500 C.E, their empire was a well organized and ruled over a vast. They had built there empire with ideas from other empires. They had built cities, dug irrigation canals and developed classes for workers. They believed in more than 1 god, the gods controlled many aspects of nature. One god was Illapu he was the weather god and the rain giver. Paca Mama was the mother of earth, And mama Cocha was the god of the sea.The Icas thought the gods have got these powers from a supreme god. Which was Viracocha who was the creater of the world. The most important god to the Incas was the Inti, the sun god. They thought this for 2 reasons. 1 was they thought the emperor family was descended from Inti. 2 was Inti was the god of agriculture too. People in the Inca culture belived in amny gods and they thought the gods have gotten there powers from a supreme god. their most liked god was Inti which was the sun god.
