The differences between Lytic and Lysogenic viruses are that Lytic are short term and damage the cells cell membrane. When this happens the cell ruptures and all the viruses reproduction goes into the body, and now is more probable to infect a lot more cells. Lysogenic is a long term dormant virus. This virus effects the cell by injecting their DNA into the cells DNA. The cell reproduces and creates cells with the same virus DNA in it. Viruses are different from cells because they are non-living. We can prevent viruses by using protection when exchanging bodily fluids, wearing mask, washing and disinfecting yourself and things around you. If we do not follow these rules we could be looking at a pandemic. A good example is COVID-19. Lytic viruses are symptomatic viruses since you see the symptom for 14 days at least. whiles Lysogenic viruses are asymptomatic, meaning you don't feel the symptoms. Vaccines are helpful in stopping outbreaks of diseases. Then your body would make antibodies to help your body to help with future viruses.

in conclusion in todays lab we learned different ways viruses can spread through a lab that showed how hiv spreads certain activities people make it started off with. The difference between lytic and lysogenic is that lytic shows the symptoms in a couple of days or weeks while lysogenic shows the symptoms later on in a persons life. Viruses differ from cells because cells are living organisms while viruses are considered none living.Another way they differ is by viruses can only duplicate by using a host cell.viruses are not prokaryotic or eukaryotic. Viruses are transmitted by sticking to a cell and putting their genetic material to the cell,so the cell makes more viruses until the virus goes into a lysogenic cycle and it goes out through the cell and it ends up killing the cell. Viruses are host specific because they can only attach or duplicate in certain oganisms.

The difference between lytic and lysogenic viruses is that lytic viruses are short term , kill the host cell . A lytic endemic is fast which means the reactions will be noticeable before a lysogenic virus . A lysogenic virus can take days to months to years to take affect to your body it's long term and in contrast of lytic it doesn't kill the host cell . Based on the activity our classmates presented we saw how HIV can be transmitted through needles , unprotected activities and blood donations and we also saw how it reacted differently throught people . Viruses are host specific like enzymes , they only work in specific ways . Cells and viruses are different in ways such as viruses being much smaller , non living comletly different from cells since cells are living and have much purpose .

The difference between Lytic and Lysogenic cycles is that one the Lytic cycle is short term, the Lysogenic cycle is long term. They lytic cycle does not chane the host's DNA. When the Lytic cycle is almost over, the Cell lyses or bursts and new viruses are released. The Lysogentic Cycle Is a much longer process then the lytic cycle becuase the lysogenic cycle can take up to months or even years to start or end becuase it lies dormant. During the Lysogenic cycle the virus does not kill the host it will just alter the host cells DNA. But during the process it inserts its own DNA into the host genes. The shape of a Virus affect it. Which is why virus's surface proteins can be different from each other. They are built to attack specific host. The protein's can't latch to something it's not designed for. They can be transmitted through the air, water, bodily fluids. Viruses are Nonliving while cells are living organisms. Viruses don't have organelles either.

The difference between the Lytic cycle and the Lysogenic cycle is that Lytic is short term and Lysogenic is long term. The Lysogenic cycle can stay "undercover" in a person because they don't cause symptoms which is asymptomatic. Lytic cycle doesn't change the host DNA but it kills the cell. This cycle is symptomatic because the symptoms can be told. Viruses can be transmitted by other people but we can't see them because they are microscopic. These viruses can go from an epidemic to a pandemic. To get rid of these viruses vaccines are used to put weaker versions of the virus and the body makes antibiotics for it. Viruses differ from cells because viruses are way smaller and they affect people while cells are used to help the body.

As for lysogenic they are long term, and instead of killing the host they attach to the host and inject there DNA and forms one with the humans DNA. Viruses are different from cells because viruses are a NOT living thing, and they can be a threat to the human body sometimes. As for a cell they are living things and help the human body. Viruses can be prevented with vaccines, although they can not be cured, the chances of the infection or disease turning lysogenic can be prevented using the vaccine which exposes your immune system making it fight back the infection or disease. In the lab when people where transmitting a disease (HIV). The person who started it did not know they had it because they where not showing any symptoms and they had it for a long time.

The difference between lysogenic and lytic cycles is that, in lysogenic cycles, the spread of the viral DNA occurs through the usual prokaryotic reproduction, whereas a lytic cycle is more immediate in that it results in many copies of the virus being created very quickly and the cell is destroyed. We know that the virus primarily enters the body through the eyes, nose, or mouth and progresses into the lungs, where the most severe illness occurs. However, the virus replicates in cells, including the blood, and when it does, it alters the blood's environment.Microbes occupy all of our body surfaces, including the skin, gut, and mucous membranes. In fact, our bodies contain at least 10 times more bacterial cells than human ones, blurring the line between where microbes end and humans begin. Microbes in the human gastrointestinal tract alone comprise at least 10 trillion organisms, representing more than 1,000 species, which are thought to prevent the gut from being colonized by disease causing organisms. Among microbes synthesize vitamins, break down food into absorbable nutrients, .And though some microbes make us sick and even kill us, in the long run. For these tiny invaders, a dead host is a dead end.Viruses are simply packets of nucleic acid, either DNA or RNA, surrounded by a protein shell and sometimes fatty materials called lipids. Outside a living cell, a virus is a dormant particle, lacking the raw materials for reproduction.

Lytic viruses act fast and don't change the hosts dna. They also kill the cells after they are done and lysogenic viruses can take a long time before being detected and they can alter the hosts dna to multiply. Viruses are different from cells because they are not made out of cells and not considered living. Viruses are specific because they need a host to reproduce and vaccines are made to help prevent pandemics

There are 2 reproduction cycles viruses use, lytic and lysogenic cycle. Lytic cycles attack cells differently from lysogenic cycles by immediately killing off the host, while lysogenic cycles attaches its DNA to the cell, and wait for the cell to keep reproducing more cells with virus DNA attached to them. The lysogenic cycle attacks long term, and leaves the victim asymptomatic for a while.. Viruses can be transmitted between people by interacting with each other, more specifically exchanging bodily fluids. Transmitting viruses can be a easy process, which leads to epidemics and/or pandemics . While cells are microscopic, viruses are even smaller than cells. They are also different in other ways, like how viruses are non living, while cells are living. Viruses are host specific because viruses can only attach to specific cells and can only infect certain organisms.

Lytic Cycle- the lytic cycle is short term. They kill the host quick and they dont change the DNA. What they do is insert DNA into the cell and that leads to them making more viruses in the cell. Then after a lot of viruses have formed and the cells lyses. The lytic cycle are like a cold and you can recover from them.

Lygenic Cycle- the lygenic cycle is long term and the longest they can lie dormant is close to a decade. Unlike lytics these are uncurable. When they insert their DNA they alter the host DNA. They also don't kill the host.

Viruses are more different than cells because their non-living and their much more microscopic than cells. Also viruses need a host to be able to Reproduce. One other thing is that viruses don't have cells.

Viruses has very weird shapes, they are also EXTREMLY small. Lysogenic viruses are dangerous because you don't know you have the virus and you go out in public hanging with your friends then you can give them the virus and they can give it to other people. HIV is an example of a lysogenic disease.

this lab we did today showed and explained the differences of viruses , & how the HIV could spread in many ways and in some activites. Another way they differ is by the virsues can only duplicate by using a host cell virus are not prkaryotic or eukaryotic . viruses are transmited by sticking to a cell.
