●      Apart from the regular stuff like clearing your vision to the wedding photographer, there are a few other things you need to take care of. For example, you need to let your photographer know about the quirks of the venue. They should know about the lighting situation, wall colors, direction of sunlight during wedding ceremony, and so forth. If you discuss this in detail with your photographer it will really help them strategize their photography plan and make the best of settings. 

●      It is crucial that you go well with your photographer, so see to it that you are in tune with them. Their style should match your vision and if not then decline the deal politely and look for someone else. 

●      It is also important that your wedding photographs tell the tale of your love and how you two came together. It should reflect the happiness in your eyes and how every well wisher ushered their love on you. 

●      Do not forget give your photographer a backstage pass. Whatever ceremony you are holding they should get a glimpse of it and the right position from where they can take the pictures. 

●      Lastly, make sure that you do not go for a pose that is not natural to both of you. There are some couples who are more suitable for portraits while there are some who feel shy about it.
