2.The curved shape of the wing and it's particular movement makes flight possible. 
3.In the down stroke,wing beats push and compress the air underneath the wings,adding air pressure to the flight.The added air pressure thrusts the bird forward,upward and side to side.
4.Once the bird has picked up enough speed,the air pushing against the tips and edges of the wings that creates lift.
