Globalization favors the rich more than the poor. Those with the ability to shape policy would enjoy the greatest benefits. Those with money to invest would see their bank balances grow. At the same time, low-income households would struggle to get what they need, limiting their capacity to pursue a greater career.

The environment would suffer as a result of globalization. Despite attempts to reduce them, greenhouse gas emissions are increasing, along with microplastics are infiltrated our seas, wreaking havoc on marine life.

Although globalization has some great advantages, it also brings along many disadvantages.
The main ones being the exploitation of workers, and the conditions they are forced to work in, and their low pay rates.
When companies outsource their work to lesser developed countries, they are able to give them a lot less in return, as work is very scarce, and everyone needs a job just to put food on the table.
Because of this these workers all work in 'sweat shops', which are dirty, poorly ventilated workshops. Because there are so many people looking for work, big companies are able to give the bare minimum, as if someone decides that they do not like it, another person will just take their place.

Globalisaiton brings in multiple disadvantages. It causes a lack of local business as brands take over certain markets because they're cheaper. The explotation of cheaper labor markets by larger companies because labour in less financially stable countries is cheaper. It creates unequal economic growth between first and third world countries because a majority of the large companies such as Apple and Google reside in the first world countries, so by exploiting the cheap facilities and labour from the third world countries they generate more profit while the exploited countries barely benefit. It greatly benefits the rich over the poor since the rich are the people are the ones who own the shares and the companies which exploit the cheap labour of the poor. The poor reak little to no benefits from the companies using them, with their pay been minimal and the conditions been appauling within the factories.

In developing nations that generally have reduced labor costs, globalization enables companies to grow jobs and economic possibilities. But overall economic development may be moderate or stagnant in certain nations.
Globalization does not provide more jobs; it redistributes employment by transferring manufacturing from high-cost to lower-cost nations. This means that nations with a high cost typically lose employment when the production shifts elsewhere owing to globalization.

globalization has its negatives because it can cause the poorer countries to miss out on things like the covid vaccination due to the fact that they cant afford it and other countries that can have heaps of it and wont give it up. the environment can also be effected by globalization because all of things being made and bought needs to be shipped around the world or flown and that causes global warming.

It can have a negative effect on the environment as transport is a large part of globalization therefore increasing problems such as greenhouse gas emissions, global warming and climate change. It also causes poor working conditions in developing countries that is unsafe and has a very low pay. Poorer countries miss out on things that richer countries take for granted such as, the covid vaccines that are free in rich countries but cost lots in poor as the countries don't have enough money to purchases them.

globalization can potentially cause governments to require to pay more money after foreign investments, this results in tax payers being forced to pay more tax. I think that 'Globalization' is a way for parts of the world to industrialize and move into the future, though it causes the rich to become richer and the poor to become poorer, widening the financial gap between them. 'Globalization impacts everyone in the world, it is the process of interaction among people, businesses and governments worldwide', these interactions include the labor industry. the labor industry is arguably exploiting countless workers yearly in order to gain a profit for their businesses with low economic standards. these standards include under paying staff, and exposing them to disgusting working conditions for low income.

Globalization has many disadvantages that effect millions of people everyday. In the United States 10.5% of the population live in poverty compared to china which has a poverty rate of 49.8%. The rich benefit from globalization and use it to increase and expand there assets, where the poor are exploited and treated inhumanely. For example many clothing shops such as the gap and kmart brands have sweat shops up and running where people have no other option but to work in horrible conditions for a small amount of pay. There often hundreds of people already working in a small space, the pay is low, there is no sick days available and they have no security within there job. In one of the Chinese sweat shops suicide nets have been put up around the buildings because of the suicide rate. Globalization has many benefits but the disadvantage are at a great cost to half the population.

It creates a monopoly of the biggest businesses and countries ending up with the large majority of the wealth. Local businesses cannot compete with larger businesses that are globalized. As more businesses go global there will be a fewer amount local businesses within that country as they cannot compete with the money and reputation the larger companies already have. There are very few local grocery stores in Launceston, as they cannot compete with the likes of Coles and Woolworths.

Even though globalization plays a vital part in the economical growth of countries, it also has many disadvantages. it exploits cheap labor and environment. Labor who work in the production sector of big companies that produces cheap products, are forced to work in dangerous , unhygienic and sometimes abusive work places. The labors have no other choice but to work under such poor conditions.

Globalization is used by the wealthier people to invest their asset and gain more profit whilst the poor only gain limited wealth which is hardly enough for them to fulfill their basic needs. This concept also applies to countries. countries with higher resources and funds invest in the development of infrastructures and sectors of the country to maximize their benefits. where as poorer countries rely mostly on the trade of cheap labor and tertiary sectors.

globalization causes a greed for profit and natural resource. The inverse effects on the environment due to excessive removal of natural resources have increased over the last few decades of globalization.
