Their aim was to land stores in the most high class areas of the world, and to expand beyond London borders. In recent years, they entered the Main Market of the Stock Exchange, and valued at around $1.2 billion. It seems as though they've reached the top and are making efforts to stay there, as opposed to trying to achieve new prestige and goals. Ultimately, they want to grow the brand without compromising it. Meanwhile, Michael Kors was looking to move into the extreme highs of the luxury market, as the fashion retail has seen a decline in the sales of mid-line products. This is likely due to the ever increasing gap between the rich and the poor(er). They plan to make their way to the top with their recent purchase of Jimmy Choo.
