         <description><![CDATA[<div>We would use it for a social studies class. The student's normally do handwritten chapter outlines after reading a chapter. For substitution we would have student's type their outlines on Word Document. For Augmentation we would have the students use Google Docs to have student's share their outlines. For Modification we would have the students create a google slides presentation on the chapter, including pictures and videos that relate to the chapter read. For redefinition we would have students create a video presentation using imovie where they act out sections of the chapter.<br><br>Jess and Katarina </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students play a game where they have to answer questions, and the correct answer allows students to "sink" a player on the other team. It also allows them to "save" a player on their team who was previously "sunk". Instead of playing this game on whiteboards or shouting out answers, they could play on iPads in a group chat.<br>The level we are most comfortable with on this augmentation, but there is a possibility for further expansion.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of the teacher I've worked with does her calendar on the smart board and its very interactive for the kindergarten kids.&nbsp; She has pictures of the kids and they have to move if they are at school or home and she does math with that.&nbsp; She has songs for every page&nbsp;<br>(months, days, weather) and each student gets a chance to pick a song.&nbsp;<br><br>The level i'm most comfortable with is the augmentation level. </div>]]></description>

On the smart-board there is a device that is connected to the mouse. When the mouse is pointed on the electronic dice and the student pushes the devices button the mouse clicks to roll the dice.</div>]]></description>

They keep doing this until they get their own journals back. I think this could be augmented by the use of iPads.
