Transforming the Criminal Justice System

This video is based upon a real victims experience of been sexually assaulted. She also shares that how her alleged attacker was "released out on bail pending for an appeal". In Nicole's case she was the victim and the justice system had not given great justice for her case. She had been through a lot and people blamed her for been the victim. So this video really shows that when you or your loved once are sexually assaulted by another they tend to get negative hatred from society for been the victim rather than seeing what the victim had been through.

This was a gathering of the professors, judges and prosecution lawyers and they each had a moment to express their opinion based on sexual assault and third party cases. The main speaker I truly was following through was Mr.Spratt a defence lawyers opinion and challenges they face when presenting sexual assault cases. Also, believe that the defence lawyers should try harder to make their clients feel less stressed and to keep fighting for their clients justice while protecting their character.Overall, the panel believed that the sexual past of the victims are not necessary to be brought up in court room and not to be related for the actual sexual assault case they are actually in for.

Are Consent videos really considerate?

This article is very leaned towards opinion based by the author. The #metoo movement have brought a lot of confusion between males and their actions towards having serious relationships and "consent videos" were a create as a solution for males to be less confused However, there is a doubt that the courts will not see a video consent as a real consideration in any way.
As for the fact that a women giving consent to having sexual intercourse through a video cannot be trusted since we never know if the women is actually giving consent by her own choice or by coercion.

This is a campaign started by the Edmonton police services. In this campaign they help sexual assault victim's and help other individuals who may know someone else going through sexual assault at any environment; to be aware of the surroundings that they are not alone. When one person attacks you there will be a whole community behind the victims support. However, the main idea of this campaign is focused on the offenders and telling them that sexual assault starts from them and they are the once who can stop it too.

This website is a helpline for women specifically since women are more likely to be the next victim in society. Also, how when helplines like these are available most women who were afraid will be able to ideally go for these kinds of availabilities when they are ready to speak with the community that will help them. Also,I believe that you do not have to be a victim to help another, woman to woman or man to man, people can be united to help each other out.

Tarana Burke, an African-American activist was the founder of this movement and it was pretty recent that it was started in the United States and have been spread across the globe including Canada. This movement is based on as support for survivor's and as an encouragement for the fighters out there to come forward with their story and to become young girls or boys both men and women's inspiration. This movement brought a lot of workplace sexual assaults and harassments even the politicians were being cruel.
