both main vocalists, alice and xia, suddenly vanished from social media posts online which left fans questioning what caused the sudden disappearance. finally sunrise entertainment made an official press statement on august 25th regarding the two members' official departure from the group.

"thank you to all those who have supported dox and been patient with us during these uncertain times.

due to a lack of activity and personal reasons, both dox members alice and xia have parted ways with group. their contracts with the company have been terminated. sunrise will support them in their future endeavors.

we apologize greatly for any disappoint and inconvenience this may cause.

dox will continue with activities from hereon out as a four member group. fans can be confident that you will hear from dox soon as the group is currently handling preparations for a comeback.

aside from the official statement promising a dox comeback in the future, there have been no further details or release date announced to the public from sunrise representatives.

while many trainees stole the hearts of netizens with show-stopping skills, fans were shocked to witness a number of well-established idols suffer absolute tragic flukes during this season's event.

the most grievous stage thus far has come from mystique's main dancer maia. previously she has wowed fans with her powerful stage presence and choreographies, but this time it seems all her professionalism was flushed down the toilet as she fumbled with her performance of 'play'. from messily improvised dance moves to a painful fall in front of millions, this stage proved a nasty blow to the idol's ego.

however, the hashtag #justiceformaia is trending online as viewers of the livestreamed performance have ridiculed the showcase production staff and crew for making several mistakes during maia's stage such as failing to rectify microphone issues, prop mismanagement, lack of dancers, etc.

in the end, after a massive battle of fan votes, the showcase winners were placed as follows;

while sunrise trainee isaiah has certainly made a great impression with taking home so many wins, ultimately the first place winners of noir girl trainees have captured everyone's attention. as was promised, the three trainees are expected to release a pre-debut song together as part of their showcase reward. noir ceo jasper seo has made a brief statement online confirming noir's plans to follow through with this promise, hoping for the girls to release their single in the next promotion cycle.
