Aldi Alamsyah

Darathul Qalby Bayla

Wulan Fauzana

Wahdani Aulia Rizka

Zahratul Aini

Suci Rahma Yuni

1. What do you think is the moral values of the story?

2. If you were the main character, what would you do differently?

3. How would you change the ending of the story?

4. What is your opinion/argument about the whole story?

5. What is your opinion about characters in the story

6. What is your opinion about place and time in the story?

7. What is your opinion/agreement/argument about conflict in the story?

8. What is your opinion/agreement/argument about the solution of the conflict in the story

9. What is your opinion about the moral values of the stories

Answer:

1. I Think Is The Moral Values In The Story About The primary moral value is that kindness is reciprocal; even small acts of compassion can have a significant impact. It emphasizes the importance of helping others selflessly, as goodness often comes back to you when you least expect it. The story also teaches that no matter how small or weak someone might seem, they can still make a big difference.

2. If I Were the Main Character: If I were the ant, I would do the same thing—helping the dove in return. However, I might try to warn the dove earlier if possible, preventing the hunter from even getting close.

3. Changing the Ending: To change the ending, I might add an element of friendship between the dove and the ant after the events. They could continue to help each other in different ways throughout their lives, building a lasting bond.

4. Opinion About the Story: I think the story beautifully illustrates the idea of reciprocal kindness, showing that even the smallest of creatures can have a big impact. The simplicity of the story allows the message to be universal and accessible to all ages.

5. Opinion About Characters: The dove represents wisdom and compassion, while the ant symbolizes determination and resourcefulness. Both characters show that helping one another doesn’t depend on size or strength, but on empathy and quick thinking.

6. Opinion About Place and Time: The natural setting of the riverbank and forest during a summer day is ideal for a fable. It feels timeless and simple, allowing the focus to remain on the moral lessons rather than specific details of time and place.

7. Opinion About Conflict: The conflict in the story is straightforward—both the ant and dove face life-threatening situations, but they solve their problems by relying on each other's help. The simplicity of the conflict fits the story’s tone and message well.

8. Opinion About the Solution: The solution of the conflict, where the ant saves the dove from the hunter, shows the power of quick thinking and bravery. It's a fitting and clever resolution, highlighting how even a small creature can disrupt the plans of a larger, more powerful one.

9. Opinion About the Moral Values: The moral values of the story—kindness, reciprocity, and the importance of small acts of good—are timeless and universally applicable. They encourage compassion and make it clear that even small creatures or actions can have a significant impact on the world around them

Instead of the mother and son being cursed and turning into fish, they could have a heartfelt conversation where the husband acknowledges his mistake of breaking the promise. The mother could express her disappointment, but rather than transforming into a fish, she might choose to leave for a while to reflect. The lake could still form as a symbol of their emotional turmoil, but the story would end with the family coming back together, learning from their mistakes, and valuing their bond even more.

In my opinion about the whole story:

In my opinion, The Legend of Toba Lake offers a rich cultural story filled with moral lessons. The central theme revolves around the consequences of broken promises and the importance of trust and honesty in relationships. The transformation of the mother and son into fish and the creation of Lake Toba symbolize the deep emotional impact of betrayal and dishonor.

The story reflects the values of respecting commitments and treating others with integrity, but it also carries a tragic tone, showing how mistakes can lead to irreversible consequences. It emphasizes the need for careful communication and keeping one's word. However, the severe punishment in the story could be seen as extreme from a modern perspective, where forgiveness and dialogue might offer better solutions than curses or tragic endings.

My opinion about character in the story:

       -The Fisherman

       -the wife (or mother)

       -the son

6.My opinion about place and time in the story the place is very beautiful in the story and the timing is very appropriate as a thing of the past

7.My opinion agreement about conflict in the story is I don't agree with his son's actions, his son should not eat his father's food so that his father doesn't get angry

8.my opinion about the solution of the solution of the conflict the solution to the story doesn't make sense, because the mother was too sad which ultimately created a lake.
