Because I have so many siblings it really teaches you a lot of patience. Another one of my unique qualities is that I am very positive.   • I am a CNA. I obtained my certification in high school and now work at my local hospital.

  • My dream career is to be a doctor. Right now I'm thinking about going into peds, but when I was younger I always thought neurology was cool.

  • I absolutely HATE hearing things scrap on surfaces such as counter tops, cutting boards, tables, etc.. it makes me cringe

  • I love love love money. If I'm not on campus being a full-time college student, then you can find me at work...I love being able to help support my family.

  • I have been working at a paying job since I was 14!

  • I LOVEEEE true crime. I listen to podcast, youtube videos, and tiktoks all about true crime all the time.

The rest of that year and my 8th grade year, I watched many opportunities get handed over to "entitled" kids while I received nothing. This situation taught me that because of my skin color, I have to go above and beyond in everything I do. Even though the white kids are trying hard to succeed, I have to try 20 times harder, so people know this black girl's name. A way we can solve this making sure black kids get numerous opportunities especially in predominately white schools. We need voices to advocate for them as well.
