Newcomers should focus on learning English more than other subjects due to the stress of learning another language and learning a subject
Unable to have great contact with school and classmates
Not being able to understand languages and cultures makes situation hard for my kid
Although only here a month, parent feels one of the challenges will be integration of families into a new society, for example newcomers may not know English
PE is a good subject, but some families have a restriction on that especially for girls. They don't like their daughter in sports.
Lack of opportunities, unreliable cabinet.
Changes in child social behavior, less respectful to parents
Education level is really high here and hard for our students to catchup. Their English is not good, science is really hard because their basics are not strong.
Cultures are different. Adjusting Islamic culture with US is hard and takes time
Child complains about what other students wear
Level of education is high and catching up is hard for my child besides learning English
