SAMPLE POST from one of our very own Chiles students... Asher - The Ocean

Most of our planet is covered in water! The ocean is cut into 3 different zones according to how much sunlight they get. The sunlit zone is part of the top ocean. The Phytoplankton live in the sunlit zone. The Phytoplankton is very important to the ocean animals. Coral Reefs are found in the sunlit zone. The sunlit zone is the smallest zone. The Twilight Zone gets less sun than the sunlit zone. When you go deeper in the water it gets colder. As you go deeper fewer plants and animals can survive because there is less food. The Midnight Zone is the deepest part of the ocean and the largest zone. No sunlight can reach this zone. Food is very hard to find in the Midnight Zone. THE OCEAN IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
