Although our school is doing well academically, our school doesn't have all the resources it needs to function at it's fullest capacity. For example, the middle school science teacher only has six science notebooks. Additionally, many students at our school often experiences academic burnout as we have no time, outlets, or extracurriculars for us to refresh our minds and bodies.

At Henderson Middle School, the principals have created a consequence that was an alternative to suspension. Since suspension is taking away from academics, they have created a system called ''Saturday School.'' This system is when you are at school for three hours, with a provided meal. During this period, you are catching up on missed assignments, doing homework, and doing community service around the school.

At Henderson Middle School, about 25% of students suffer from mental health issues. They face issues such as parent conflicts, educational failure, and social pressure, among others. The students suffering through these issues normally do so on their own; their solution is commonly drugs and harming themselves. Since this is happening at school, it is the school's responsibility to support these students. At Henderson Middle School, many students don't find the "trusted" adult they need, thinking the counselors don't care or take action regarding their conflicts. In a mental health survey, there could be an option for faculty to be informed about these conflicts. This is to spread awareness and bring students the help they need to be successful.

Our school is doing good with mentoring programs, and our sports teams and extracurricular activities are very inclusive and doing well.

Our school has students that are struggling with their grades, and are not motivated or challenged enough. I think we need a way to help students understand why school is important, without lecturing them, because I think that is the opposite of motivation for some students.

Removing Financial or Logistical Barriers: Provide free or subsidized materials, transportation, or fees for enrichment programs.
Monitoring & Accountability: Track enrollment and performance data by demographics to spot inquiries. Furthermore, it is to help track which students are enrolling in advanced courses and enrichment programs by things like race, income, or language background, so the district can see where there might be gaps and make sure every student has a fair chance to participate.

By the audit, we can confirm that students recognize bullying, harassment, discrimination, racism, and other negative, impactful behaviors. With this information, they should be encouraged more to speak up when they witness these negative behaviors. As well as having more exercises and scriptures about bullying and other negative conduct.
