<title>Hildegard of Bingen was a weak and sickly little kid. She was born at Botelheim on the Nahe, 1098. Her parents were Mechtildes and Hilderbert (named after her father?), and her sister was a recluse. Sounds like me. Nobody knows their last name, but her father was a soldier and they were super rich. Hildegard could read and sing Latin psalms, but sadly, she couldn&#39;t write.</title>

<title>Hildegard was a prophetess. So, like, she could tell the future! She was called Sibyl of the Rhine, and she had visions of God. She decided to become a nun because of these visions. She was very holy, so she used her &quot;powers&quot;, I guess you could call them, for good.</title>

<title>She wrote sacred music, called hymns. She also wrote about important things, like history and medicine.</title>

<title>Sadly, no, she is not. She dies in her own Monastery in 1179, feast 17 September of natural causes. She made a difference by creating a Monastery. Also, she could see the future, so that was cool.</title>
