But this is merely a diagram of the Plan. 
Elder Kim B. Clark stated, 
"First, please guard against the students thinking that the diagram is the plan. It is not the plan, but it is very easy for the students to think that if they have the circles right, they understand the plan.

Second, please help the plan come alive in their minds and their hearts. Help them to know and love the Father’s plan. Now, I believe the way to do that is to take them deeper into the plan."


To understand this deeper, I want you to think about two things...

But did you know that each one of them actually helps us to come to know Jesus Christ?

Below are a bunch of pictures of stories from the Old Testament. First question: Do you know which story is shown in each picture?
Second: Can you see anything (in the picture or story) that is a symbol or a type of Jesus Christ? Go deeper than just saying “Jesus helped these people.”

He wrote a letter to find out what condition they were now in.
    1 Thessalonians 3:9-13 shows us what Paul hopes for these people.
    As you read these verses, what do you think the ultimate goal of the gospel of Jesus Christ is? Can you sum it up in one word?

It appears Timothy was relatively young, because Paul talks about Timothy's youth. So this counsel can be applied to you. 

    In class next time we will try to follow this counsel by understanding doctrine better. Will you please show up to class with at least one question/doctrine that you would like to understand better? We need to know how to find answers to our questions.

Please come to class ready to create something to communicate what you've already learned about the topic.
