<title>Darius Rucker is another great example of a crossover artist. He is currently one of the few African American country artists, however he began as the lead singer of a pop group: Hootie and the Blowfish.</title>

<title>Taylor Swift is a great example of a crossover artist. She got her start at age 14 singing at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville Tennessee. She has gone on to cross over to the pop genre, although many of her country songs sounded &quot;pop&quot; to begin with, such as this hit:</title>

<title>Nelly is a rap artist who broke onto the scene with songs such as &quot;Air Force Ones&quot; and &quot;Country Grammar.&quot; Many of his songs are strip club staples and glorify partying. However, he made a giant crossover (even more of a stretch than Taylor Swift or Darius Rucker) by recording a country song with current superstar Tim McGraw</title>

<title>These three performers prove that they can easily solidify their careers in a typical fashion in their respective genres using the expected stereotypes of their cultural backgrounds. While they have a fan base of their cultural peers, these three artists prove that they can relate to others by changing their style or teaming up with a artist outside their genre, thus showing their true range as well as creating a new fan base.</title>

<title>Both of these movies prove that, although people may come from different backgrounds, once they actually learn a bit about the other, people are really just not that different. Note that Tim McGraw is a star in the Blind Side, as he was mentioned earlier as helping Nelly cross over to a different audience. Both of these movies were outstanding, especially the evolution of the characters in The Blind Side as they are still (in real life) extremely close. It just goes to show that there is still hope in the love of humans towards each other.</title>
