Another planet (Theia) collided with earth distorted the earth's surface. Tons of debris fly into space and over 

1,000 years the moon is formed. It was 22,000 km away, instead 440,000 

The Earth is spinning really fast, and days were only 6 hours long

3.9 billion years ago a hail of meteors filled with water crashing down, attacking earth for 20 million years. Small pools start from from the crashing meteors.

Massive storms start to occur because of the earth's fast rotation. Over time, the moon drifts away, the tides calm down and the earth doesn’t spin as fast.
3.8 billion years ago, tiny islands began to sprout and molten rock bursts through the water forming a volcanic island. These islands will join together to make  the first continents.

There is no light at the bottom of the ocean

A mixture the hot liquid which comes from the crust in the earth, the minerals in the meteors, mixture of the sea water have somehow come together to make life. The bacteria that is formed are the earliest form of life. 

For hundreds of millions of years, nothing has happened or made progress from its first chemical reaction.

3.5 billion years ago, more complex life started in shallow oceans, a plant of living bacteria underwater called stromatolite uses photosynthesis to make glucose and realises a gas called oxygen, the stromatolite realises oxygen into the water creating rust which falls to the bottom ocean to form rich minerals. The stromatolites are also changing the surface through the realise of water. 

1.5 billion years ago, over the next 2 billion years oxygen levels continues to rise, and the planet spin slows down. Days get longer.

There is still no complex life like plants, dinosaurs or humans. 

The Earth has something that other planets don’t have, a force with a power to change everything. 

750 million years ago, the supercontinent splits in two, due to huge forces of heat under the Earth's crust, this activity has caused huge volcanos to form, spewing enormous amounts of smoke and gas. 

Carbon dioxide mixes with water to form acid rain. The rocks absorb the acid rain and carbon dioxide.

In just a few thousand years this causes temperature to fall, to minus 50 degrees. The ice spreads across the planet because the sun's rays are being reflected off the ice. 

Planet Earth is now frozen, and the sun's heat gets reflected off the ice back into space. The volcanos were still active during the ice age and carbon dioxide filled the air as there were no rocks to absorb it. 

After 15 million years the ice begins to melt because the carbon dioxide traps the Earth's heat inside the atmosphere. The ice melting caused more volcanoes to be formed, which cause the temperature to rise and rise. The sun is able to penetrate the atmosphere more, and there is a chemical reaction where the sun's heat on the ice creates hydrogen. 

600 millions years ago the days were 22 hours long and the days are warmer.

A plant slug called wawhacksia, it’s a new generation of complex life. 

Cambrian explosion, oxygen has grown, which allows creatures to have larger skeletons. 

Lots of life in the ocean. 

Pacaya has the first ever spine, and is around 5 centimetres long. 

There were more than tens and thousands of animal species under the water. 

460 million years ago there was a new continent, Gondwana. It’s warm and has oxygen.

There are no animals on land as the suns radiations is deadly. 

When oxygen meets the sun's radiation, a new gas forms called ozone. This gas absorbs the sun's radiation. 

Over 120 million years the ozone layer gets thicker and stops more radiation. 

A tiktaalik is a fish, but uses its fins as legs to move on land. 

Over 15 million years these creatures called tetrapods evolve and grow stronger limbs, and spent a lot of time on land. 360 million years ago they made the land their home. 

An embryonic plant has its own water and food supply, it can last for months even years without water. When it sprouts it creates more oxygen for life.

There are tons of bugs on land and some have been around for hundreds of years.

The oxygen helps more bugs repertory system more efficient. 

Some eggs have water in them and can be grown on land, as the eggs are like a self-contained pond. Now animals can leave the water and plant eggs on land. 

A Hilanamas is a new kind of creature, it is a reptile. 

Over hundreds of millions of years rocks will cover up the plants and trees. The heat from the Earth's core and pressure from the rocks will transform the dead organisms into coal. 

When we burn coal in factories they are made of plants that died 300 million years ago. 

Life has conquered the planet.

A Gorgon is a prehistoric killing machine. The Gorgons razor teeth have wounded the scooter soar. 

The entire landscape is irrupted with lava, it’s a flood rising beneath the earth. 

The paradise of plants is now gone and all the animals are dead. This is called the Permian Extinction. 

On the other side of Godwana nothing has happened and ash started to form from the cause on the other side. The ash burns and kills animals around the world. 

The atmosphere is full of sulphur dioxide from the eruptions. The atmosphere gets hotter, the water evaporates and vegetation dies. 

There are no signs of life on land or water.

Oceans are turning pink and the plants, and everything is gone. Except for the pink algae. 

The Siberian eruptions are transforming the entire planet. 

Bubbles escape vast pockets of methane gas beneath the seabed. Methane is a greenhouse gas and is 20 times more deadly than carbon dioxide. The gas was frozen but the temperatures made the gas melt. 

The gas pushes temperatures even higher up to 40 degrees. 

All the creatures up until now are doomed. 

It’s been 500,000 years since the eruption first started, and tis whole time the lava has been pouring everywhere. 

95% of all life is gone.

Some creatures survive by digging underground and eating anything they can find. 

250 millions years ago we were back where we started, a lifeless planet. Almost. 

200 million years ago there was now just 1 supercontinent called Pangea. 

Since the extinction, the planet has been healing. Temperatures are getting better, acid rain is changing and vegetation is coming back. 

With 95% of all animals wiped out, there is a chance for new species. One that will dominate the planet like no other before or since. The dinosaurs. 

Dinosaurs like Amazons and all other dinosaurs they’ve evolved from the handful of reptiles that survived the Permian extinction. Their size makes them slow, but vulnerable. 

A Dilophosaurus is small and fast.

The dinosaurs have repopulated the planet, but no species contain this restless, volatile planet.

Earth's plates were on the move. 

190 million years ago the supercontinent of Pangaea broke up

Over the next 10 million years layers of rocks with bury and heat the dead organisms, making oil. 

180 million years ago the North American plate was moving away from the European and Asian plate. It is happening slowly. 

Moving forward, it creates new continents and oceans. 

The entire sea floor has been split and has been rising to the surface. 

Over time, the Earth changes, the animals must adapt and evolve.

Earth and its creatures have changed massively. 

65 million years ago there were small mammals that would hunt at night and hide during the day.

The giant space rock was traveling at 70,000 mph towards Earth. The asteroid destroys everything in its path, including itself. Nowhere is safe. 

Minutes after the impact, the earth is under attack from asteroids in every direction.

The Earth’s surface is heating up to 275 degrees. Vegetation dies. Even after months, the impact is still there. 

The dinosaur's 165 million year rein is over. But it is a chance for new species to rise. 

Earth's plates are on the move again. The Indian and Asian plates are locked in a titanic struggle, both plates begin to buckle. 

Mountains come and grow up to 8,000 meters. These are the Himalayas. 

Our planet now has every continent snd every ocean, but it is missing humans.
