He helps them get accustom to the new community they're moving into.          <description><![CDATA[<div>THEME- When people help each other, everyone achieves move.<br>CENTRAL IDEA- The central idea of this text is that there are so many refugees that everyone needs to help them in any way they can, like converting a western ranch into a sanctuary.<br>SOCIAL ISSUES- The refugees need places to go and there are so many of them that no one has space, so a cowboy amusement park turns itself into a camp to house them.<br>EVIDENCE- This video went into the <br>AUTHOR TECHNIQUES- When they switched between pictures of the different refugees to show that they're all different and human like us.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>THEME-When you do something that is controversial be prepared for the opposing side to fight back<br>CENTRAL IDEA-The students of the University of Wisconsin did not want America to get involved in Vietnam and were anti war and a lot of kids went to University of Wisconsin because they wanted to protest but some kids just wanted to stay neutral and study so they did not like what was happening the people who did not like this got the police to send down some officers and they were not gentle to say the least.  <br>SOCIAL ISSUES-People being drafted and America spending huge amounts of money on the war<br>EVIDENCE-They talked about the students getting drafted if they have low grades and how the kids who did protest were punished<br>AUTHOR TECHNIQUES-This story is told informatively and in sequential order. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>THEME-Could we tell personal human surprising thought provoking stories about not just the justices but the people and the ideas that get in front of the court and in the process could we give our self's a new way of thinking about this country <br>CENTRAL IDEA-When something terrible happens you will come back from those dark things like a pendulum if you swing to far one way you will eventually come back for example the roaring 20's were some of the best times for America but when the pendulum came back down the great depression hit <br>SOCIAL ISSUES-Japanese American internment which was the incarceration in concentration camps of Japanese Americans during world war 2 just because of their heritage<br>EVIDENCE-They talked kind of about yin and yang and how every thing will equal out<br>AUTHOR TECHNIQUES-They tell stories and reflect on those stories now that they are older and more informed</div>]]></description>
