The mayor was sitting in the armchair, eating good food the citizens didn't have, watching TV. They see the sun, calling it a fiery circle. But, something caught their attention, a road. This meant people actually did live here, and they were thriving. Lina and Doon tasted fruit on trees out in the outside world. They discovered things that were new to them along the way. Something hit Lina and Doon at that moment. If Ember was underground, they could drop the message to the ground, and just hope someone like Clary would find it.
