This results in a rise in self harm rates etc and has a greater impact on the economy since there is less people working and also higher Crime rates. 

Another issue is failing education due to the lack of funding in Bury from the government. This results in a less educated population potentially leading to brain drain etc. 

A third issue is the cycle of poverty within Bury. Much of the population is either homeless or lives in obsurd living standards.

Eg the textiles industry, especially the cotton industry has since moved abroad to Japan and India. - there are pockets of vacant and derelict land across bury
- there is a lack of physical activity in bury and the proportion of obesity in children is rising
-some areas in Bury have poor access to broadband services

It also provides donations and can help people with taxes and their living conditions e.g. providing furniture etc.

Provide incentives for businesses to set up, this can create more jobs and pull people out of poverty.
Government provide investments/funds to allow businesses to start up.

HS2 - good train connectivity link allowing people to move in and out of the city for work - this can cause employment to increase as people can travel for jobs in neighbouring cities easily.
