How can student test scores really reflect a teacher's effectiveness? Students have some many variables that effect them and their scores and a teacher is just one of those variables. Yes in thought if they are doing harm to a child they need to leave. As mentioned in the book, test scores are not valid enough to base such a decision off of. The teacher could have a particularly tough class or a particularly high group of students.
