Group Name: The Heavy Metals
Problem: The problem is that the warship was built wrong .
Cause: The ship was built wrong because the workmen were using different systems of measurement.
Effect: The ship sunk and killed 30 people on board. A very bad tragedy to the people and their families.
Opinion: In our opinion, the problem could have been avoided by just communicating with the other construction workers, and making all the units the same so that the warship would be symmetrical. If it would have been made with all the same units the ship wouldn't have sunk.

Group Name: The Graduated Cylinders
Problem: The rock group wanted a Stonehenge model that was 18 feet tall and they received one that was 18 inches tall.
Cause: The bands did not specify the unit of measurement that they were using or make sure they were using the same unit of measurement as the people around them.
Effect: The first band could not use the model for their concert because it was to small. The second band could not use the model for their concert because it was to big and got in the way of their performance.
Opinion: We think that when you are asking for a size of something, you should always say the unit of measurement that you want, or make sure you use the same unit of measurement of the people that are around you and convert it to what they use.
