         <description><![CDATA[<div>The article discussed how you cannot judge a child by just their academic achievement. As educators we must look at the whole child to determine giftedness and not just achievement. There are times that the child's giftedness is not seen or identified due to the constraints put on them by the education system. There needs to be a reflection process on how to best loosen the constraints to see the potential in our students. -Dawn&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Gifted children deserve to experience what it is like to run 70 mph and pursue their interests. Often times. schools do not recognize this and the gifted child is lost.  This must change for the benefit of society and the incredible contributions they can make.</div>]]></description>
