<title>I would use these strategies in conjunction with my guided reading lessons. My students who have problems decoding words would benefit greatly as it would increase their automaticity in reading. I would give ongoing assessments to monitor their progress, if they did not learn, I would then try a different approach.</title>

<title>I plan on using the phonological awareness assessment on my middle to low reading groups. I also plan to work with each group to make sure they are taking in the training. I may assess each time we&#39;re about to move on to the next level to make sure they&#39;re getting the info. Additionally, I plan to share all of this info with my first grade team.</title>

<title>I am excited to begin using the PAST screening assessment to see where my students are in terms of their phonological awareness. All students will benefit from the direct instruction and drills, either working on their highest correct level moving toward becoming automatic, or with the more direct instruction on a level that needs further growth. The data from quick drills and other formative checks will make it clear what students have learned. If it seems like students did not learn, I will continue to use repetition for students that may just need to see it one more time while trying to assess if there is another underlying issue. </title>

<title>I am going to practice giving students an opportunity to discover their spelling patterns through a more interactive and discovery method before giving them their list of words for the week. All students will benefit from learning through this method so that they are not simply memorizing through visualization. I will be using data from formative assessments and quick checks to see what students have learned. If they haven&#39;t learned the material yet, I will continue to use repetition and then further analyze if there is any other underlying issues I have been missing. </title>
