Originally, we were meant to go to the beach to pick up rubbish but due to covid, the teachers gave us free reign over our VIA projects. My group decided to help tutor the little professor children, who were basically children who had to stay back after school because their parents were not available to pick them up. We stayed back some days after school, made our own worksheets, and helped tutor them. I remember that my friend even helped to design and print stickers to give to the kids as an incentive! I thought that it was very meaningful and I really enjoyed spending tine with my cute juniors.

Basically, we had a booth at the carnival for the beneficiaries to visit, and my task was to share with the beneficiaries about Chinese calligraphy and its history and introduction, but sadly no one was really interested so I ended up writing couplets for the people and giving it to them for free. It was a cool but tiring experience yay

It was a non profit organisation and at first i regretted it & was hesitant to tutor children as i wasn't a fan of kids.
