Article
As temperatures rise and the air becomes warmer, more moisture evaporates from land and water into the atmosphere. More moisture in the air generally means we can expect more rain and snow (called precipitation) and more heavy downpours. But this extra precipitation is not spread evenly around the globe, and some places might actually get less precipitation than they used to get. That's because climate change causes shifts in air and ocean currents, which can change weather patterns. https://www3.epa.gov/climatechange//kids/impacts/signs/precip-patterns.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrM14jzyGjQ

This rapid warming trend cannot be explained by natural cycles alone, scientists have concluded. The only way to explain the pattern is to include the effect of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted by humans.-
video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4H1N_yXBiA

article -
Global warming is shifting rainfall patterns, making heavy rain more frequent in many areas of the country. With human alteration of the land—like the engineering of rivers, the destruction of natural protective systems, and increased construction on floodplains—many parts of the United States are at greater risk of experiencing destructive and costly floods. - https://www.ucsusa.org/global-warming/global-warming-impacts/floods
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8L4BoDNJMc
