Margot was originally from planet Earth and shes the only one who remembers the sun, the day the story took place is when the sun was supposed to come out. Margot is at school at this time and the others students don't really like Margot because they feel as though that shes making up stories about remembering the sun. As Margot and the other children debate about whether the sun is really coming out or not the teacher leaves the class room. The students then push Margot into a closet and lock her in the closet for hours, the kids do it be a little joke and to punish her for "telling false stories about the sun". The teacher comes back to the classroom and gets the kids ready to go see the sun, so sure enough the sun comes out. The kids all laugh and play and enjoy themselves in the sun meanwhile little Margot is still trapped in the closet and shes crying and upset. Next everybody comes inside from seeing the sun and as the kids enter the building they remember that left Margot in the closet. They all feel really bad and upset that they caused her to miss the sun and all because they thought she was lying. What I mean by that is there are people who through things like this everyday at school and get little or no help at all. Although things like this is sad, I like to read and hear things like this so I can understand some what or how they felt and it gives me a chance to think about what I would or could do in this type of situation. It also allows me to think or ways to help people and gives yo a taste or some of the negative parts or reality.
